Rare Catalin Creations by Lain sliced bakelite bangles with intricately inlaid clear rhinestones in a herringbone pattern. 

Dan Lain inherited bakelite stock from his father's business decades ago and designed the machine to inlay the rhinestones so perfectly. There weren't many made and each one is numbered, three are numbered 3 of 10 and the red is numbered 5 of 10. While the Catalin (bakelite generically) is vintage, the bangles were made from around 2000-2005.

These are quite chunky walled bangles, each measuring 7/16" wide X 2 9/16" wrist opening (great for some of us gals who need a slightly larger size) X 3/8" wall thickness.
